Burlington Village Square Wedding: Arlene & Dan

Arlene and Dan were married last fall in Burlington. This wedding has been in the Real & Blush vaults for quite some time and I am so excited to finally share it with you. The bride and groom were two of the sweetest people on this planet. Dan, though very quiet, was beaming with joy all day long, especially while looking at his bride Arlene.

The day started off at the Hilton Inn in Oakville where I spent the morning with Dan and his groomsmen.

While waiting for the ceremony to begin, the boys, in true boy fashion, took to passing the time in the church daycare.

Upstairs, Arlene was passing the time in a similar way.

The bride and groom were all smiles during the whole ceremony.

The wedding party then traveled to the Village Square in Burlington for portraits. Despite the bitter cold, they rocked the photo session and were a ton of fun to photograph.

Groomsman… or James Bond?

The reception was at the beautiful Grand Olympia in Stoney Creek – a gorgeous venue.

Instead of clinking glasses (which many venues now disallow), Arlene and Dan asked guests to build them something unique from lego pieces that were placed on each table. Many guests came up with super creative pieces.

My sincerest thanks to my good friend Janice Yi of Janice Yi Photography for asking me to assist her at Arlene and Dan’s wedding!
