There’s something magical about black and white photographs. I adore them. One of the most satisfying feelings I know is when an image transforms perfectly into black and white when I’m editing a digital photo session. Some images look great only in colour, but some become truly striking when turned into black and white.
Last month in NYC, I decided to challenge myself and shoot a collection of black and white photos. I wanted to try to capture as much of the essence of the city as I could in the short 3 days we were there. This is by no means a perfect collection, or a comprehensive collection, just the product of this self-challenge. I hope you enjoy them.
