Downtown Toronto Wedding: Janine and Chris

It’s hard to imagine it at the moment, as we enter our 88th consecutive day of snow on the ground here in Toronto (a city record!), but Janine and Chris’ July wedding was beautifully warm. The kind of warm you wish for in July – mild, not too humid and just perfect.

I had the honour of assisting Janice Yi with this wedding and it was so exciting to witness and capture my first Buddhist wedding. The portraits took place at Toronto’s infamous Evergreen Brickworks, a perfect mix of nature and grunge, while the ceremony was later held on the rooftop of Earth restaurant on Bloor Street West. A true Toronto wedding, through and through.
