Behind the Scenes

Toronto Bridal Show Review: Lovestruck Expo

Two weeks ago I attended the new Toronto wedding show ‘Lovestruck Expo‘ to visit my friend Sara Wilde of Sara Wilde Photography. This unique wedding show, described as being for “creative couples and kick-ass party do-ers”, featured some extremely artistic and original vendors. I had such a great time feasting on cupcakes and cake made by small local bakeries and meeting other fellow photographers, designers and wedding planners. Prospective brides and grooms with creative tendencies – look out for Lovestruck next year!

My favorite part of the show was the exquisite reception tables styled by Lovestruck Expo hosts, Darling and Daisy, a Toronto-based event design company. I was beyond glad I had lugged my camera out to the event and had such a fun time photographing the -ish out of these tables. The gold cake just made my heart melt and I just wanted to camp out in the tent for the rest of the evening. You know, as much as I try to deny it, it’s moments like these that I realize I am truly a fanatic of all things pretty and girly.

Enjoy the photos!
