Toronto Distillery District Wedding: Renee & Ginoy
During his speech, one of Ginoy’s two best men said that “Ginoy was in his mother’s womb and already knew he wanted to marry Renee”. Nothing was more evident on their wedding day. The way Ginoy looked at his bride all day long and was constantly aware of how she was doing, making sure he helped her with her dress when she needed it, (trust me, you notice these things as a wedding photographer!) there was no doubt that Renee was the most important thing on Ginoy’s mind.
Surrounded by their friends, family and church community, the two made their love official on the last weekend of September and sealed it with a true first kiss that takes the award as the most passionate kiss possibly in the history of weddings.
The love that Renee and Ginoy share is the kind that radiates calmness, stability and happiness. This is why it was an honour to document them, a pleasure to spend time with them and a privilege to now call them my friends. Renee and Ginoy, thank you for allowing me to share in your day and I wish you so much happiness!
The day started off at the Toronto Airport Mariott where Renee and her ladies got ready:
Renee looked stunning in her Barbara Allin dress overlayed with a lace bolero.
The ceremony took place at the couple’s church, the Potter’s House Christian Centre, where Ginoy was already waiting with his groomsmen.
Renee’s crafty touch was everywhere.
Faith is a huge part of Renee and Ginoy’s life and was present during their whole day. After a last pre-ceremony prayer, the ladies were ready to make their way into the church.
This was Renee and Ginoy’s first kiss ever and by far the most passionate kiss at a wedding I’ve ever seen.
The crowd WHOOPED.
After the ceremony, we made our way to the beautiful Distillery District in downtown Toronto for some portraits with the wedding party.
This whole wedding party rocked. You guys were seriously awesome and so much fun to be around.
Finally, Renee and Ginoy and the backdrop of the Distillery District was just perfect.
I know I’ve said it already, but Renee you are stunning.
And Ginoy, you are effortlessly suave.
Congratulations you two!
