Downtown Toronto Portrait Session : Zarah & Matthew
Zarah and Matthew spent an afternoon on Bloor Street with me, exploring and taking in Toronto’s slow(er) Sunday pace. I was so excited to capture these two, they are the sweetest couple and darn good looking too! I was also excited when they agreed for me to test out a new approach to couples/engagement sessions on them. The approach was that we would take a walk and photograph whatever came our way, rather than planning the session out to the minute. We ended up buying lemonade from a kiddies stand, looking through old video tapes, having ice cream, petting a very moody cat and playing on the playground – very grown up things, I know! It was a ton of fun and made for very happy and relaxed photos. I look forward to developing this approach with my future couples
I just adore these next photos. They just scream summer and relaxation:
We ended the session in a community vegetable garden in Christie Pits. It was so refreshing to see sunflowers and lettuce growing in the middle of the city.
Zarah and Matthew, you are so sweet:
We kept telling Zarah that she could model for H&M in her dress:
The truth is they could both model, and not just for H&M.
Zarah and Matthew: I had a blast with you guys! Thank you!!
